Projects
Race to health Equity
The Race to Health platform begins with a bold aspiration:
Eradicate racial and social injustice as a public health threat by eliminating health inequities for people of color
Ensuring consistency with Johnson & Johnson’s Purpose – to profoundly change the trajectory of health for humanity and Jansen’s aspiration to make disease a thing of the past.
As part of the planning and implementation team managing the launch of the initiative, we conducted comprehensive research and benchmarking to understand, assess and prioritize where J&J needs to focus efforts.
The information and insight was leveraged to build a strategic framework that requires us to take meaningful, deliberate, and thoughtful actions to:
- Create a world-class diverse and inclusive culture that better understands the patients and consumers we serve in communities of color.
- Deploy our resources and expertise to provide equitable healthcare solutions for communities of color.
- Forge partnerships and alliances that address racial and social health detriments.

All purchases directly support local micro-enterprises, with 100% of the profits going to our vendors.
Life on the Edge
The Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Research Reserve (JC NERR) is one of the 29 National Estuarine Research Reserves created to promote the responsible use and management of the national estuaries through combining scientific, education and stewardship.
The Life on the Edge project captures approximately 116,000 acres in southeastern New Jersey, including a great variety of terrestrial, wetland and aquatic habitats within the Mullica River-Great Bay ecosystem. The Reserve is a concentrated patchwork of federal and state lands managed in partnership through a variety of agencies. With little more than 1% of the Reserve subjected to human development, this area is regarded as one of the least disturbed estuaries in the densely populated urban corridor of the Northeastern United States.
